Regional Minister’s “Accounting to the People” Tour Set to Engage Agona West Residents

Government Officials to Account for Development Initiatives and Engage Residents

Agona West, Central Region — September 4, 2026

Residents of the Agona West Municipality are set to participate in the Regional Minister’s “Accounting to the People” Tour, scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

The engagement will take place at The Church of Pentecost, Agona Nyakrom, and is expected to bring together government officials, local authorities, community leaders and residents to discuss development and governance issues affecting the municipality.

Regional and Municipal Leaders to Participate

The programme will feature key government and political leaders, including His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, as featured on the event publicity.

Also featured are Hon. Ekow Panyin Okyere Eduamoah, Central Regional Minister; Hon. Ernestina Ofori Dangbey, Member of Parliament for Agona West; and Hon. Eric Gyamfi Odoom, Municipal Chief Executive of Agona West.

Platform for Accountability and Community Engagement

The “Accounting to the People” tour is expected to provide an important platform for government representatives to engage directly with citizens and communicate information about development programmes and initiatives.

The engagement will also give residents an opportunity to raise concerns, ask questions and share their views on issues affecting their communities.
