CORE MANDATE
The Finance Department leads in the management and use of financial resources to achieve value for money.
The department exist to provide financial advice to management with the view to fulfilling all the requirement of existing legal framework concerning financial matters. Notable among these laws are
- Public Finance Management (PFM),
- Audit Service Act, Procurement Act,
- Financial Memorandum etc.
The department aims at achieving sound financial management in the assembly for effective and efficient management of resource financial and otherwise.
