HANDING OVER OF OTAPIROW KG BLOCK

The Municipal Chief Executive and staff of the Agona West Municipal Assembly on Wednesday 25, June 2021 handed over a newly built KG block to the Educational directorate of Agona West to ease education. The handing-over ceremony is part of the activities of the Agona West Municipal Assembly for Improvement of Access to Basic Education in deprived Areas. Among other objectives, the Project seeks to eradicate poor and dilapidated school structures that often characterize basic education in deprived areas across the country.

The community members including chiefs, elders, women and school children expressed gratitude for the successful completion of the classroom blocks and toilet facility for the community. At the ceremony, a number of speeches were made by several people including the MunicipalChief Executive of the Agona West Municipal Assembly, the Municipal Director of Education and the chief of Otaiprow.
