SITE INSPECTION
Management of Agona West Municipal Assembly on Wednesday 30th March,2022 went on a site inspection to see the progress of work under the Ghana Secondary City Support Program(UDG-2).
The projects which include drainage works, cover slabs and bituminous surfacing of Greenland, Facol and Eduful street were awarded to Johnson Aggrey Construction Ltd, Ga-Wayem Construction Ltd and Start Water Company Ltd.
The contractors working on the projects briefed management on the progress of work. Ga-Wayem construction Ltd indicated that the drainage works, cover slabs and the earthworks are 100% completed. The contractor for Start Water company ltd also indicated that all drainage works, cover slabs and earthworks have been completed as watering and compaction was in progress. The contractor for John Aggrey did indicate that casting of 0.6m u-drains was ongoing of which management was not happy about.
Management therefore, advised Johnson Aggrey Construction Ltd to speed up with work because they were behind time.
