AGONA WEST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY HOLDS 1ST QUARTER MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING

 The Agona West Municipal Assembly on Thursday, February 6, 2025 held its First Quarter management meeting at the Municipal Assembly Conference Hall to review the Assembly’s performance in the key Performance Areas and Indicators stated in the 2025 Performance Assessment Contract and to further plot the successful execution for that of the 2025 administrative year.

The meeting, chaired by the Municipal Coordinatong Director, brought together Department Heads and key stakeholders including the Ghana Education Service and the Ghana Health Service. It also provided a platform for Heads of the various Departments, Units and Agencies in the Municipality to present their First Quarter reports anjnjd to share their successes and learnings, fostering a culture of transparency and continuous improvement as well as strategize for the remaining quarters.


Among key issues discussed were the progress of ongoing projects, financial performance, and the challenges faced by the assembly.


In his address the Municipal Coordinating Director, acting as the Municipal Chief Executive passionately charged the staff to continue to maintain a good team play in the management of the assembly’s affairs, stating that it was prudent to repudiate all shortcomings of the previous year and focus on the best possible way to ensure an excellent output for the remaining quarters of the year.


He advised the Heads and Staff of the various Departments and units to eschew lateness and truancy to enable them live up to the task as duty bearers exuding professionalism at all times. He further noted that he was looking forward to having an assembly that responds quickly to request, petitions, and complaints to create a flawless image in the eyes of the public in the year 2025.

The MCD further entreated the staff to maintain a high-level confidentiality in their day-to-day affairs to ensure the sustenance of good working ethics in the Assembly, adding that it was the responsibility of every staff to ensure that the good name of the assembly is upheld.
