CHIEF EXECUTIVES INAUGURAL MEETING WITH THE MUNICIPAL CO-ORDINATING DIRECTOR

The Municipal Chief Exdecutive has held his inaugural meeting with the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Simon Asare earlier today, marking a significant milestone in his tenure as the new Municipal Chief Executive.
During the meeting, the Co-ordinating director formally handed over the keys to the office of the Municipal Chief Executive, ensuring a seamless transition of duties. Following the handover ceremony, the MCE conducted an inspection of the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP) machines and equipment at the assembly. The DRIP initiative, launched by the Government of Ghana, aims to empower Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies with the necessary resources and equipment to enhance road networks across the country. This program is expected to improve connectivity, spur economic growth, and create job opportunities.
The Municipal Coordinating Director's commitment to supporting the MCE during his tenure is commendable. His promise to ensure his success in office will undoubtedly contribute to the effective implementation of our assembly's projects and programs.
