TRAINING ON SNAIL FARMING FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITY

As part of the mandate of the departmemt of social welfare and community development and with the help of the Agona West Municipal Assembly has organised a traininAg worshop on snail farming for persons living with disability within the Agona West Municipality.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Robert Baah, the head of the Social Welfare and Community Development strongly counselled the participantsq to make use of the knowledge acquired to improve their socio-econpomic well-being.

Mr. Baah said the government would do everything within its power to improve the intellectual, technical and vocational capabilities of the physically challenged to enable them to play their roles well in the community and national development.
