The Agona West Municipal Assembly has planted assorted trees totalling 100, 000 as part of the activities marking the green Ghana day.

A committee set up by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Evans Addison Coleman together with the Municipal Coordinating Director, Ishmael Nana Ogyefo to look into the activities of scrap dealers on friday, 12 May 2023 met the Association of Scrap Dealers operating in and around the Agona West Municipality to discuss issues affecting the municipality as a result of their activities on the residents of the agona swedry township and also a follow up to their initial meeting held on friday, 28th April 2023.

The Municipal Chief Executive of the Agona West Municipal Assembly, Hon. Evans Addison Coleman on thursday, 11th May 2023 presented logistics to be used for the collection of Property Rate to the Client Support Officers who will be operating in the municipality.

Hon. Addison Coleman urged the client support officers to be committed and sincere in the discharge of their duties. He also advised them to take proper care of the logistics in their custody since they are properties of the state.

The Agona West Municipal Assembly has presented 200 dual desks to the Municipal Education Directorate for onward distribution to schools across the municipality to address furniture challenges.

The Agona West Municipal Assembly has held its 2nd Ordinary General assembly of the 8th Session to approve its 2023 Annual Action Plan, 2023 Composite Budget and 2023 Fee Fixing Resolution. The day was a very busy one since the business for the day was to approve documents which was going to be used to run the municipal assembly for the year 2023.

Taxi drivers, market women and residents arount the Ahmadiya taxi station in Agona Swedru are eletaed over the handing over and completion of the taxi station. Speaking to the crowd gathered at the taxi station, the Municipal Chief Executive Hon Evans Addison Coleman who was accompanied by the Municipal Coordinating Director, the Municipal Works Enginneer and other staff from the Agona West Municipal Assembly urged them to keep the taxi station very clean and neat at all times.
