The Agona West Municipal Assembly has taken a proactive approach to prevent flooding in the munipality by organizing a 3-day cleaning and desilting exercise in communities within the Agona West Municipality. As the seasonal rains have commenced, the potential for flooding and loss of lives and properties increases. Therefore, it is crucial for local authorities to take measures to prevent and mitigate the effects of floods.

The 2023 National Best Farmer, Mrs. Charity Akotia has paid a courtesy call on the chiefs ans elders of the Swedruman Council. She was assisted by the Agona West Municipal Chief Executive, Hon.
