The Municipal Chief Executive of the Agona West Municipal Assembly, Hon. Eric Gyamfi Odoom on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025 paid a courtesy call on Okofo Katakyi Nyarko Eku X, the Chief of Agona Nyakrom. The purpose of the vis was to express his heartfelt gratitude for his invaluable sopport throughout his journey to becoming the Municipal Chief Executive. the MCE reaffiremed is contribution to prioritizing the development of Agona West.

The Municipal Chief Exdecutive has held his inaugural meeting with the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Simon Asare earlier today, marking a significant milestone in his tenure as the new Municipal Chief Executive.

The Agona West Municipal Assembly has held a confirmation ceremony for the Government nominee, Hon. Eric Gyamfi Odoom as the Municipal Chief Executive at the forecourt of the Agona West Municipal Assembly on Wednesday 16th April 2025.

The long-awaited completion of the Construction of the 60 No. Lockable Stores at Mandela Market is finally here. The project which commenced in 2019, though met several Safeguard Issues has finally been handed over to the Client, the Agona West  Municipal Assembly on February 26, 2025.

The Agona West Municipal Assembly in collaboaration with the Regional Health Directorate on Friday, 14th February 2025 organised an emergency health committee meenting on cholera at the Assembly's conference room following the recent cholera cases recorded in the Municipality.

 The Agona West Municipal Assembly on Thursday, February 6, 2025 held its First Quarter management meeting at the Municipal Assembly Conference Hall to review the Assembly’s performance in the key Performance Areas and Indicators stated in the 2025 Performance Assessment Contract and to further plot the successful execution for that of the 2025 administrative year.

The Agona West Municipal Assembly held its first quarter health committee meeting on tuesday, 28th January 2025 at gthe Municipal Assembly's Conference Hall. The meeting forms part of ongoing efforts to monitor andd improve the health status of the community.

The meeting agenda included a review of existing health programs, discussions on new initiatives and any updates on new initiatives.

On 26th November, 2024, the Agona West Municipal Assembly held a technical sub-committee meeting at the Municipal Assembly's conference room. The technical sub-committee plays a crucial role in ensuring that projects align with the municipaly's overall developmtal goals and that technical aspects are properly consisdered.

The meeting was to assess ongoing projects, review new proposals and provide technical guidance.
